An amazing and beautiful Classic Vintage Johnson Viking Matchbox Antenna Tuner - Coupler, is on sale on e-bay.

I just couldn't resist to download the accompanying photos and place a few lines here. It is a fine specimen of factory construction with the element of human craftsmanship as long as the internal wiring concerns.

The final bidder should consider him/her very luck for winning it.

I wish I could bid for it but I can't. Oh God how I miss the former decade!

Το είδα στο e-bay και δεν μπορούσα ν' αντισταθώ στον πειρασμό να σας το δείξω εδώ. Δεν ξέρω πόσο ψηλά θα φτάσει αλλά είναι ένα έργο τέχνης, πάρα πολύ μακριά από τα mfj's του κιλού.

Πάρα πολύ όμορφο αλλά και λειτουργικό κομμάτι όμορφα φωτογραφημένο.

His Balanced Tuner is an excellent VERY CHEAP and SIMPLE idea based on W2DU description of an UNbalanced Tuner to a BALanced one at ARRL Antenna Compendium vol2 and Peter Rhodes G3XJP Pic-A-Tune wich you can read below.

A simplified Pic-A-Tume with the collaboration of an Arduino as Ashhar suggests it will be a God-sent gift for us homebrewers!
